Day 4 Nancy to Brussels

B: Coffee and croissant
L: Ham and Cheese croissant, followed by a vanilla slice and a coffee éclair. This was a real French affair, and tasty to boot, rating 8.0.
D: Snacks on train.

Day 5 Brussels

B: At Hotel Sabina
L: In the masses of restaurants at Grande Pace Grote Market, found a Chinese restaurant offering a buffet for 10 euro, so sampled, hot and spicy soup, curry chicken beef and vegetables, spring rolls, calamari rings, fried rice sweet and sour chicken and deep fried prawns and fruit salad for desert, had to rate an 8.0.

D: Went to La Biere Circus, where the barman was the resident clown, and tried a beer drinkers special, speck, potato, leek, and carrot on toast, with a small salad, a very filling meal, rating 7.5, followed by a few samples from an extensive beer menu. Namely a Vivien Imperial Pale Ale, 8.0%, very malty and dark colour, rating 7.5, next was a Stribbie Pils, a clear ale, very refreshing, rating 8.0, and finally a Keyte Dobbel Trippel 9.2%, a dark almost black beer, triple blended, very fruity and spicy, a cross between a Guinness and a double sars, dangerously easy to drink. I can now work out how soccer hooliganism started, a 6 pack of this rocket fuel, and even a 50kg weakling, would think he could fight and beat Mike Tyson, a top beer , rating 8.5.
